Züblin Umwelttechnik GmbH presents the PFAS TerraPure® process at the 26th Symposium on Contaminated Sites

With the help of our innovative PFAS TerraPure® soil washing process, soils with a high proportion of fines can also be washed in contrast to conventional wet classification. This innovative technology is being used for the first time on the PFAS-contaminated site of a military airport in northern Germany. Over 50% of the fines (<63 µm) can now be treated there and no longer need to be disposed of. Since February 2023, around 340,000 tons of sandy soil material with a fines content of around 10 to 20 % have been washed at this site.
Further information can be found in our poster, which we presented at the 26th Symposium on Contaminated Sites at DECHEMA House in Frankfurt (Germany).
