Construction water cleaning at US military hospital, Weilerbach
The largest US military hospital outside the United States is being built in Weilerbach near Kaiserslautern in the immediate vicinity of Ramstein Airbase. Around 2,500 people will work in the new hospital building. Completion is planned for the end of 2027. The construction contract worth almost one billion euros was awarded to the German-American consortium ZÜBLIN and Gilbane Joint Venture in January 2022. ZÜBLIN Umwelttechnik is responsible for dewatering and construction water treatment.
