In the groundwater downstream of former industrial areas, the groundwater is contaminated with LCHC. Today, a sports facility is located here, in the middle of which a remediation well has been constructed. The groundwater is pumped 60 m above and below ground in galvanized pipelines to the plant container outside the sports facility, where it is purified using bag filtration and activated carbon adsorbers. The damage extends into two separate aquifers, which can be cleaned up separately using a hose packer
