Compact system for irrigation in agriculture

The groundwater in Mittelbaden is contaminated with PFAS over a large area.
In order to be able to continue using the groundwater for irrigation in agriculture, the PFAS pollutants are safely removed to below the purification target values with the help of an activated carbon plant.

Pollutants

  • Σ PFAS 1-2 µg/L
  • only carboxylic acids: mainly PFOA, PFHxA, PFHpA
  • Discharge limits: 10 ng/L single substance
