Fully automated treatment system

Züblin supplied and installed a compact groundwater treatment system for arsenic removal. The 40 m³/h system is connected to existing equipment and comprises an upstream bag filter, two ferric-hydroxide adsorbent filters and another downstream bag filter. Arsenic is removed by adsorption on synthetic granular ferric hydroxide, with treated water routed to the existing final discharge line.
A maximum inlet As concentration of 275 µg/L is observed at pH 8.5–9.
