Our ZÜBLIN CarbonEx biogas activated carbon filter is used for the almost complete removal of hydrogen sulphide from biogas.

Construction method
The container is made of high-quality HDPE and is therefore completely corrosion-resistant. The activated charcoal filter is equipped with thermal insulation to prevent the condensation of water vapor in the filter container. A heat exchanger for gas reheating is also installed in the filter container. Thanks to our customized design, the biogas activated carbon filter can be adapted precisely to your on-site situation.
Special activated carbon
For the separation of hydrogen sulphide, we use our special SulfoPac 200 activated carbon, which is characterized by a particularly high loading capacity. Thanks to this and the individual design of the biogas activated carbon filter, the CarbonEx biogas activated carbon filter achieves a particularly long service life, so that the activated carbon usually only needs to be replaced at intervals of one year or more.
