The BioSulfidEx is a biological scrubber or trickle bed filter for cleaning biogas. The purification system is suitable for biogas with a high concentration of hydrogen sulphide. With the BioSulfidEx, your biogas is cleaned efficiently and economically.
Description and area of application
If the hydrogen sulphide concentration in your biogas is very high, the biogas should be cleaned in an activated carbon filter (e.g. the ZÜBLIN CarbonEx) before fine purification. This takes place in an external biological purification system - the BioSulfidEx from ZÜBLIN Umwelttechnik. The BioSulfidEx process is based on the biotrickling filter process or trickle bed reactor process in accordance with VDI guideline 3487-2.
The system technology for the BioSulfidEx consists of a tank with packing and a technology container. The pollutant transfer and biological degradation to elemental sulphur and sulphate take place in the tank. The plant technology, including the control technology and the control cabinet, is housed in the technology container. The plant is monitored via process visualization with display and archiving of the relevant process parameters.
